There was barely any electricity! We played our games in a barn with makeshift hoops!

 

Your school had colored photo yearbooks?

I hate you.

 

Yeah it was glossy and colorful as fuck.

 

We had some color pictures but our yearbooks were like 300 pages long and I'm not even kidding. That's a lot considering how many people were in K-12.

 

My yearbooks are in my fathers basement where they will stay forever. My senior picture was really nice tho. I have that picture somewhere in my closet I think.

 

Every time I buzz my head I expect to look like Brad Pitt in Fight Club. Every time I exceed my expectations.

 

Being homeschooled had some minor drawbacks. Case in point; never had a yearbook at any point during my education career.

 

That might be a good thing considering all of the shitty yearbooks pictures I had taken through the years.

 

Yeah I'm pretty fine not having any. I have enough embarrassing photos of myself through the years to keep the nostalgia alive when necessary.

 

here comes my negativity haha - i hated the final year of high school BECAUSE of that. i also didn't go to any proms or trips. i just hated school in general.

 

Yeah, I hear that a lot from my friends, actually. Even during high school, I didn't really care that I wasn't at a "real" school. I just don't think I would have gone to those things even if I could. That and I managed to turn out socially adjusted and not like a bad "homeschool kid" cliche, despite never going to school, so I'd say it worked out pretty well.

I do remember wishing I had a locker, though. No idea why.

 

I wished I had a locker the whole time I lived in Florida. When I moved to Nevada we did have lockers and I never even used mine.

 

High school was fun. Mostly junior and senior year when I made a bunch of friends.

 

You wouldn't think so but I was really popular in school.

 

I wasn't popular as in the Cool Kids way, but everyone knew me and I got along with all the different groups.

 

I didn't have any clique or friends really and wasn't really part of things in High School or now

 

I hung with the cool Asians and the School Asians.

 

I was one of the "bad" kids in high school who skipped constantly. Somehow I was always able to talk my way out of trouble, though.

 

I miss high school. Life was so simple then.

 

I don't miss high school at all, but I really miss college. Those were the best days.
