That's the only reason I just went for it and the fact that it isn't expensive enough to pay what they want to repair it.

I'd like to get a computer eventually

 

i got my first desktop last year, so i'm on a dual monitor set up now. i feel professional.

 

I'm still saving up for something nice. Maybe I'll record shit again.

 

I will have to come into some money in order to do that lol My sister says I should get a Mac but I had to use one in the library in college and I hated it. I know I'd get used to it but I don't want to learn to work one. Same reason I won't get any other phone besides an iPhone.

 

Funny that you're hooked on iPhone and PC. I'll never buy an Apple computer or phone

 

I'm also Windows / ANDROID because that's what I'm used to plus I never found iTunes to be user friendly

 

I'm Windows PC/Android phone, and have an iPad.

 

All Apple everything.

 

My computer shit the bed this morning and my completely ineptitude about technology is only compounding the issue. Geek Squad wanted $150 to just run a diagnostics test, even though I already know why it crashed. Then they want to send it to HP for 3-5 weeks to try and fix it. Hell no. My dad said he'd take it to some local repair shops so hopefully that will be fruitful. The damn thing is only 2 months old.


Edit: it's a PC. Before it crashed I got a pop-up that said "unmountable boot volume"

 

All I know is that I should burn my current computer.

 

I use Windows for iTunes only (lol), I have a Mac for work and I have a home desktop that I built and outfitted with many versions of Linux. I do need a better laptop though, I have an old, shitty Windows one that works but is slow and not great. I'll probably get one from the Ministry of Freedom because Im really interested in their products and how they are built.

I better stop now before I geek out anymore.

Yeah I thinker Acer/Asus has the best build quality out of the non macbook lineup.

Once you go dual monitor you can never go back, way too convenient. Especially for browsing the web/gaming.

Grew up with Windows but loved my tiny little green iPod Mini. Eventually the iPod touch/iPhone transition was an easy one. Love my phone but I've never owned a MacBook or iMac

It's decent quality parts, but you can get equal quality parts in a non-mac for less or the same. You're paying for the brand imo and it's just not worth it (although it can be good for some video editing stuff and the likes). Plus, I'm not a fan of the UI but that's just me.

 

I either completely bombed or completely killed at my job interview today. There's no gray area.
