Yes and it's against their religion to receive blood transfusions and to give blood but I'm not seeing anything about medicine.

What I hate about house hunting is this. You are making this monumental and very expensive decision and you essentially have to almost make a split second decision because of how fast offers get put in.

 

My 7th graders are super bummed about him dying which is surprising because they have no idea who NSync or the Spice Girls are. I assumed they were musically illiterate past 5 years. Prince has a long reach, playing Purple Rain for them as they read

 

I keep trying to console myself that I got to see him. But it's not really helping.

Best show I have ever seen. Out of like 140 or so. Not even a contest

 

I wish I had been able to see him just once. This is such a hard loss in our generations musical world. His soundtrack for Batman back in the 90's was epic.

 

Anybody got any laptop recs? I would rather finally try a MacBook but I don't think I'll be able to afford one/I could really use a laptop for the school year.

I missed his show with Erykah and he ended up having to cancel anyway but it still breaks my heart I missed it.

 

Trying not to spend more than $550-600. If it's realllly worth it I don't mind maybe going up to $700.

 

Because I'm sad and this story cheered me up. Still one of the greatest stories ever.

My bandmate and I drove to NY on a weeknight to see him at Madoson Square Garden and then drove all night home

 

I know it's outside that range but I've had my macbook pro for about 6 years now and it's worked flawlessly. It's only just now started to slow down a bit, so I may up the RAM and swap my HDD for a larger solid state drive to get a few more years out of it instead of buying new. That said, you might be able to find a refurb in the 600-700 range.

Yeah I've been giving those some thought too on Macofalltrades. I could also get an Apple refurb Air for around $700, thinking about that and then hopefully in a few years I can upgrade to something faster with more memory.

 

Acer has really great lineup for all price points, got one of their $700 ones for gaming and handled most things I threw at it pretty well

 

My laptop is currently in a million pieces and I'm trying my damndest to fix it.
