Is it really that surprising though? FiR has to have a sizable audience for them to be worth it for the PR headache they must entail.

Teenage kids have bad taste and are oblivious (I would know, I was certainly that way too)

 

Falling In Reverse is a bad band with people in the band that do really shitty things.

 

A friend of mine died a few days ago on his birthday and they're still trying to figure out what happened. They said there's no sign of foul play so they think it was an accident but they called in the GBI which is scary. One of our friends has been sending me screenshots of Facebook where people are speculating suicide or drugs. I pray his parents and sisters don't see that shit. It's so wrong.

 

I don't think anybody here is saying it's surprising (having a deja vu here, heh...), but that's not really the point. I just wanted to make people aware and that, well, it still sucks.

I'm really, really sorry :( That is awful. I wish people wouldn't act like that about death. Leave it alone. It's disrespectful. As always if you need to talk I'm here. I know I rant a lot myself, but I want to help you too.

 

When my friend died of an overdose 3 years ago people did that. Speculating publicly and literally writing on his Facebook wall asking inappropriate questions he obviously couldn't answer. Facebook pretty trash most of the time imo.

 

Yeah same thing happened with my friend as well, and it's likely that overdose wasn't even the reason because there were a lot of health issues that were completely unrelated. I'll admit I privately speculated and that itself was wrong as well, but seeing people do so publicly made me so angry.

 

My very best friend died of an overdose late last year and like five or six total strangers messaged me on Facebook asking what happened/if he killed himself/if he was a drug addict, etc. Like, chill y'all. I guess that was because most everyone else was very respectful not speculating publicly and whatnot so the randos were in the dark.

 

People can be so fucking shitty

It's a tough call between the two, but they both suck in the best way possible.

 

I will never understand taxes.

I was quoted to be getting a return around $1000 (I didn't work much, spent a lot of time in school last year) and then my return got rejected because apparently my ex claimed our child so I couldn't, which was the plan anyway but miscommunication happened which caused it to get filed wrong, so we refiled taxes and I still get the exact same amount. I'm not complaining but I'm starting to wonder what the point is.

 

Mom: What'd you do today?
Me: Finished Kimmy Schmidt season 2, and I'll have Master of None season 1 done by 9 or so.
Mom: We've gotta find you a job.

We have this sort of conversation almost daily when she gets home from work. I'm doing real good justice for being nominated to Who's Who when I graduated.

 

Is saying "lol" still socially acceptable in text? I mean, I basically text like I'm 12 so I'm probably not changing either way.

 

That smiley face with the tears took the place of lol for me.
