I finally feel less alone on this forum....lol

 

You know, I went and actually watched it the other day. It wasn't horrible but man, you just nitpick the shit out of it.

 

Being this motivated is really weird to me. Getting a lot done the last few days and it feels good.

 

Same. Went from like 600 friends to like 150 now.

 

It feels like a bug got a new apartment, and that apartment is my ear.

I was in my car yesterday and immediately felt something in my ear. My first thought was a bug, then I thought maybe there was a hair or something like that. It went away overnight and now it's starting to bug (no pun intended) me again. Legitimately considering going to a doctor soon. Even if it isn't a bug, which is probably the case, I'd like to know what it is because it's a constant crawling sensation. Maybe this is the week I go insane haha.

 

I'd much rather have it in my ear then my eyes. Went on a bike ride in the fall and that happened to me in both eyes within like five seconds of each other haha

 

Hundreds of bugs have flown into probably every orifice as you've slept through the years.

 

sounds like that fake stat about swallowing a certain # of spiders in a lifetime

 

I have no idea if I'm cooking these pork chops right. Guess I'll find out.

Is there a simple way to turn FLAC into something I can play like a normal person? I am a moron with this stuff.

 

I stepped on a plant one day and it threw pieces of itself into the air, one of which landed in my eye. I freaked out and started rubbing my eye impulsively. It was burning for a few minutes and I thought I'd have to hike back with one eye. Turns out, I forgot that I ate raw Ramen before this happened and I unknowingly rubbed seasoning from my finger into my eye. Good times.

I just did the thing where I caught and killed a fly in the palm of my hand

 

my 17 year old brother has a 4.0, is active in a theater that's raised $50k to charity (he played Scrooge most recently, that play alone brought in over 17k for a homeless shelter), volunteers at our local hospital, SAT score in the 90th %ile, actively plays on a football team, has shadowed health professionals, taken APs and college courses, etc, he's a real achiever. he applied to 9 different PA (physician's assistant) programs at a range of schools and got accepted to all of them, including his dream school with one of the best PA programs in the nation. for that school, after he got his financial aid package (including the highest merit scholarship the school offers), he found out that there would be no way for our family (single-income, family of nine) to pay for it. so he and my parents appealed, and got an additional 12k in merit aid, which brings him up to having to pay literally $250,000 to attend for the six years his program entails. my entire family is fucking livid as well as really, really sad, he's worked so hard to get the chance to study to become a PA and there are kids getting full rides because of athletic scholarships but there might literally be nothing we can do
