I've been singing "Tell It To My Heart" by Taylor Dayne almost all day today.

 

applied for a job looking for a "rockstar" business analyst which is just completely ridiculous because we're all actually miserable

Phew caught up. First cd I had in my possession was the Backstreet Boys album with Everybody (aka the best song of all time) on it passed down from my brother.

I think the first I bought with my own money (aka money an adult gave me at some point) was Hybrid Theory. Beastie Boys' Hello Nasty was an early one too RIP MCA

 

These dr.'s offices need to get a grip. I realize I have an appt tomorrow from the e-mail and text I already received. There's no need for them to call me, too.

 

First record I bought with my own money was S Club 7's debut.

Also went to high school in New Jersey with a kid named Joe Jonas in the height of the Jonas Brothers' career. He would post screenshots of him telling girls he wasn't the Joe Jonas they were looking for

 

I'm pretty sure the first CD I bought with my own money was The All-American Rejects' "Move Along".

 

mine was Kid Rock's Devil Without a Cause, but the edited Wal Mart version

 

Oh and on parents and music: I got most of my music education from my dad. Lot of classic rock, Beatles and such. Now the roles have kinda reversed and I turn him onto stuff. Last night him and my mom went to see Mutemath (my brother and I went, too). In a couple weeks my dad may come with me to see O'Brother lol

 

I bought Eve 6's Horrorscope at one point and it was explicit, so when my parents heard the cursing they went out and bought me the edited version. Well, I was obviously a clever kid, so when they weren't hope I just switched out the CDs with one another. Tah dah!

 

My grandma gave me a CD once for Christmas with only the Macarena song in several different languages on it.
