I think I'll tell my girlfriend since she had been considering joining AP for a while. Seems like a good time for her to come on board. I have a couple other friends who may be interested.

 

I'd love to get some of my friends who never posted on AP to join here.

 

I had tickets to go to The International last year, but couldn't make it. It always looks nuts.

 

I think all the people I would wanna tell already know

 

Pretty much none of my friends ever even heard of AP, so what I said before doesn't really matter.

 

It's still cool yet wild to me that e-sports have grown into what it is now. I remember when my buddy showed me the NA LoL Championship Series stuff on YouTube and the whole presentation of it just blew my mind into pieces.

 

Dota has far and away the craziest production value, at least at TI anyhow. $18 million prize pool. Absolutely unreal.

 

Believe it or not my bff doesn't listen to music at all.

I can believe it. I have a buddy who doesn't listen to music recreationally. What blows my mind is she is a musician.

 

I mean, look at this stuff.

They have their own SportsCenter and it looks professional!

I'm the friend in the group who listens to way, way more music then anyone else. Often been labeled a hipster, in a joking way, by my friends because I'm always talking about some new thing I've been listening to.

 

I kinda get the same thing from the fam.

 

I'm this friend too. There's a long-running "Troy already knows every band" joke with my friends.

 

So it's not Gout! It's Hallux Limitus. I have to wear better shoes! Good thing I work for one of the best shoe companies!

 

I don't even bother trying to bring up music around my family. My dad is 24/7 Bruce Springsteen and my mom doesn't like the swears.

 

Most of my friends are pretty avid music listeners but I think I seek out the most new music in our group.

 

Most of my friends are heavy listeners too and each of us has a different niche with it which is cool, we get each other into a lot of different stuff

 

My fam is pretty much a group of geeks with each member of said group being very knowledgeable about a particular thing, like tech/movies/video game/etc. I'm the music geek as you can tell.

 

My mom hated St Vincent so she is the worst. But she loves indie wrestling so she is the best.

 

This is eerily similar to my family, although my dad is actually really interested in modern bands that carry the torch, so to speak, of his favorites, like The Gaslight Anthem.

 

Dis my little munchkin. I feel you all should have the chance to bask in her glory. (we had just gotten manicures).

 

Grew up in a church household so my childhood had some truly awful music in it.
