I get this. a lot of people that I know that are “obsessed” with traveling are also the worst about it
like 9/10 they come from wealthy families and talk about travel like it something everyone can do and those who don’t are like less than/small minded in some way. super annoying

I appreciate it and it was nice but honestly it doesn’t quell anything haha
For one, that video was made before things drastically changed in the past few days
For two, my anxiety isn’t really based in omg I’m gonna die (I’m emo, so)
It’s more like I just get a panic attack thinking about us destroying Iran as a country and taking more innocent lives than needed
Also the anxiety surrounding nuclear attacks even if they aren’t anywhere close to me due to the extreme extensive fall out they have that would affect the world for decades
It makes me want to rip all of my hair out that some of the most powerful people in the world are involved in a fucking pissing contest and think the only answer is who can kill more people

Those people also often tend to be the first to fetishize other cultures in my experience. It’s like most things, either extreme can be problematic if done for the wrong reasons.
