Weird finale to a bizarre season but goddamn I really loved the moment of Dany trying to talk casually about the iron throne and Jon not even taking a second to amuse her

Pretty happy with that across the board. Brienne’s reaction in regards to all things Jamie feels wrong, and i’m not sure if leaving so much ambiguity surrounding bran and his actions or lack there of this season is smart, but overall i’m happy.

Drogon melting the Iron Throne and a random wall in anger was... odd. Unless, like someone said, it was Bran. But then, like someone else said, way bad timing on warging into a dragon a few hours after he destroys KL.

Did Jon turn himself in? Would love to see how that played out without him getting immediately killed.

Who told everyone else in Westeros to come to KL? Grey Worm seemed pretty pissed, can’t see him writing letters and using ravens and then waiting 4-5 weeks for everyone to show up lol

That was a direwolf on Arya’s ship right? I thought maybe she was going the “I’m no one” route but I guess when your brother is king you get some bonus points if you get in a jam (or not).

Isn’t it obvious that Drogon would be going to Dragonstone? Surprised the dialogue of where he was even came up except for Bran to be vague in his answer. Also expected Bran to warg the fuck out right then and there to him.

Almost thought Drogon was gonna light Dany up and bring her back to life or some shit.

Would Jon have died if Drogon lit him up? Can a Targ die by dragon fire? Or would he have to be a pure blood Targ to survive that?

Dany and everyone else had no proof Cersei actually died and just celebrated anyway. And the majority of the castle was standing so what made them think she was dead? Only Tyrion actually knew and he sure didn’t tell them before her speech started.

What part of the castle crumbled to kill Cersei and Jamie? Tyrion seemed to have a pretty easy way to them and it looked like the roof was still intact from where the bodies were.

Probably the most obvious prediction ever made, but I’ll take what little credit there is for calling it.

I liked the Starks (all “4”) all going off in different directions. If I recall from the books / early in the show, the history of the Starks is pretty much always set in the north. They rarely leave the north / Winterfell and aren’t really known outside of their lands. So now, you have one way beyond the wall, one sailing into The Who-knows-what west, one as King in KL and one remaining to keep the history going and leading the north. In that aspect I found it pretty cool.

I've never really aligned with the idea of pieces of this show feeling like fan fiction but that was a bit clumsy. Certainly did not feel very series finale like.
