Children 10 and under are free, which is really cool, but it’s also how I ended up shielding a stranger’s ten year old daughter holding an inflatable shark during the final breakdowns of Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste as the guitarist started stage diving and her dad tried to crowd surf to him. She was living her best life and I needed four ibuprofen and an ice pack.

 

That is awesome! When I went to go see PFC, there was a kid there that had to be no older than 12 in the pit two stepping and going around the circle pit.

I hope this fest is still around and has the same policy when she gets born/older haha that rules so much.

I'm so excited to finally get to see them after all these years. There are tons of great bands on here, but I've seen most of them before.

Saturday is stacked. I am dreading the conflicts.

 

After seeing where Turnstile is landing on some of these massive rock festivals, they're starting to feel like an absolute steal for FF. Gotta think they took a huge paycut to come back to a festival that helped "launch" this new era for them.

 

Yeah, I think there was some good negotiating involved because they are probably the biggest band that has ever played besides maybe MO.

 

I’d think that MO is far from one of the biggest bands to play. Killswitch Engage or maybe Mastodon probably is?

I mean if we wanted to get super duper technical and count the OG ones, fall out boy probably is.

accoridng to Spotify, kill switch is the biggest band out of the ones mentioned

 

Turnstile and Mastodon have some work to do

 

KSE does not surprise me too much. That band ruled the metal world for a hot minute.

 

Not that surprising in 2023, but TBS is in the 2.4m range, too. Almost expected them to be higher based off of playlist singles alone.
