What if the wink next to the word new is actually for them hinting at The Format coming back...?

 

I'm just dying for any Nate at this point but The Format would be extra exciting.

 

I was ready to be let down by this bump but please give me any new Nate.

 

I agree that any Nate would be good but was hoping for some fun. news

 

I really don’t think fun. will happen again for a long time, if ever. Jack is thriving without it.

 

Yeah I gave up hope on fun because it seems jack has 100% moved on.

 

If Jack made time for that Red Hearse album he should be able to make time for a fun album if he wanted. They don’t even have to tour it!

I honestly think fun. is put to rest. I feel like there was a falling out between Jack and Nate. Who knows though?

 

would kill for anything Nate at this point. Looked at that instagram page and can't find the post, maybe it was deleted?

 

Can you imagine if fun and MCR reunited within a few weeks of each other?

 

Haha Jack is finishing up the new Bleachers album, so that's definitely a no-go

But I def want some new stuff from Nate if he's got it

 

I feel like Nate does best when he's working with someone else...he's more of a lyricist/vocalist than a musician, so Jack was a perfect pair, and he obviously worked really well with Sam filling that role, too. Then his solo album wasn't great. Anyway, I think he should make an album with Rostam.

At this point, I'd love to see him team up with a few other people a create a new band tbh

 

And not freestyle lyrics in the shower

 

Unbelievable that this band had the best album of the decade two decades in a row

i knew he was talking about doing the poll from the Format thread and I still got an adrenaline spike when I saw both threads get bumped lol

I would love new fun. in my life, and to see them live again, of course.

 

I can't see them getting in the studio or even back together for a long time. They're all in completely different places in their lives, but I feel like Jack especially is in a place where he doesn't have any reason to go back to fun.

 

While I agree about Jack, I also disagree about Jack because of how much material he works on every year. I mean, the Red Hearse album was an example of a project he didn't lead, but was a part of, and was able to fit in among many other things last year. It's always possible in my mind, but maybe not with a large tour or anything. We'll see...

 

Late response but with so many reunions happening as of late (including The Format!) I cannot rule out a fun. reunion in any way.
