Running through my first legacy dungeon in the dlc, getting my ass beat left and right

 

This DLC is so damn Dark Souls 3 at times in the best ways

 

For a good stretch I was like "I'm holding my own really well" and NOW I'm getting my ass handed to me, I love it

This is better than The Old Hunters (which was my gold standard for a DLC) by a large amount

 

I’m so annoyed. The game is not recognizing that I got the two halves to the lift so I have to go back and get them again. I’ll be joining you all shortly.

I find the DLC difficulty to be pretty uneven so far. I’m one shotting most enemies, but there are random enemies and bosses that are crazy hard. I’ve only been able to play like 3 hours though

the fire basket giants have absurd range. Fuck those guys

 

This thread is reminding me how much slower I play these games than a lot of people. Havent beaten a boss yet, just bumming around Belurat

 

When I first started playing Elden Ring on my deck more often I didn’t really fuck with it at first and felt like I was struggling more than I would on my PC but a few weeks later and I almost always play on the deck

 

Unfortunately I am getting the inappropriate activity bug and can’t play online right now on deck ever since the patch dropped

 

Whats everyone's strategy with the scadutree fragments? I was holding on to them at first because I didn't want to get overpowered but I popped one just now and it doesn't look like it makes a huge difference

 

Finally got back to Mogwhyn Palace. Almost there!

I got that today and I’m just playing on my PC. I just reset the game and it fixed it

 

I got it twice last night and now once today but haven’t tried to do anything to fix it

 

Hit level 100 and decided to give mohg a shot for the fuck of it. Not quite yet but I’m not far. Could probably hammer it out if I tried a bunch but I still wouldn’t be DLC ready. Def wanna beat the base game and maybe Malenia first.

 

I also got the blasphemous blade and it’s still super powerful post nerf. That and magma wyrm’s scalesword are gonna be huge against Maliketh, radagon and elden beast who all have insane holy resist and my two main weapons are big on holy damage of course

 

Yeah I keep hearing BB’s nerf was very small

 

Mohg down at level 108. Like I said still wouldn’t consider this character DLC ready but I’m tempted to just b-line to the end of the main game and save Malenia for later if the DLC brick walls me too much. After Mohg I’m now sitting on 420k runes so that 108 level is about to sky rocket

 

Commander Nial in the mountains is way worse than I remember. Frostbite fucks me up before I can do anything. Might need to do a frost negation wondrous physick

 

Getting my shit absolutely pushed in playing the DLC lmao

 

Ok Kings and Queens I redownloaded ER and my character is lvl 167 - going to practice a bit before heading to the DLC. Pumped

 

Got back to Mohg and kicked his ass again (all this time I forgot I was on NG+)
Time to start the DLC
