lol I’ve lvld up 7 or 8 times recently and every time I remember the thread saying it so I put almost all those points in vigor

 

I still dunno what rune arcs do. They just give you certain buffs for a limited time? Ive never used one

 

Not just a limited time. If you stay alive they’re permanent technically. Someone who knows more can elaborate more. Also depends which great rune you have equipped

Wow. TIL that the whole time I played and beat Elden Ring, I had my Great Rune equipped but never activated it because I had no idea that's how that worked.

 

Im gonna jump on my PS5 file thats at godskin duo today. I’m around level 110 i think im not positive but im gonna go dragon hunting to level up some more

 

lol there was a random runebear in Consecrated Snowfield and it was like all of them, an absolute menace.

 

lol I ran into the same bear yesterday. it obliterated me and I went to explore a different area

 

The Abductors aggravate me not because they're dangerous but because they fucking warp me to Volcano Manor when I don't want to be there. So annoying.

 

Okay looks like Moghwyn palace is the place to do late game farming

 

One of my kids said Placidusax was the hardest boss so I tried using bubbles on him for the first time ever (10 vigor 99 faith and min reqs for everything else to use bubbles) and he died before he flew for the first time lmao

yup. there's a specific cliff side with a bunch of those mopey motherfuckers right next to a grace.

 

yeah i saw theres a giant monster below a grace point where you can hit him with an arrow and run right and he runs off the cliff, i'm ready to cheese tf out.

 

I hope I can get my PS5 to work with my game capture card i'll stream that tonight or tomorrow prob

 

Interesting. I wonder if that was intentional, making that a good farming area since the DLC stems from there.

 

well they've never done anything to get people to not use the area. used it on both my playthroughs.

 

Farming runes is the difficulty modifier bloggers pretend FromSoft doesn’t provide, I think it’s great and also very intentional that Mohgwyn is so good for it

 

My first milestone was 30 vigor then I wanted to catch up so I could wield all these dope weapons but now it’s back into vigor

Update:

 

Fuck them bears, lobsters and crows but still think the royal revenants are the most "fuck you, player" field enemy in the whole game for me

 

I am now ready for Friday. Mohg is a great boss.

 

jumping back in to do some rune runs and get familar with everything again

 

Made it to Radagon last night. Gonna hold off and see if there’s any other bosses I may have missed or any other little areas I haven’t found. Do a little leveling up until Friday rolls around.
