It's fucking awesome! I wouldn't be so certain it will be his final release. FR was demoing the next album so I'm hopeful they will release something down the line even if it's just demos.

 

I suppose that's true. What with the timing and all, Mastersystem already feels posthumous

 

The final song on that album, Bird is Bored of Flying feels like a very fitting (bad word choice maybe?) ending.

 

Anyone know where to get Pedestrian Verse on vinyl? I have all of their others, but haven’t been able to find PV (don’t wanna pay the $200 eBay price)

 

Monorail in Glasgow used to have a bunch of copies but that's all I know.

 

It’s kind of alarming how intentional this one feels. I think it’ll go down as the darkest song he wrote.

 

It was hard listening for a bit after the news, but now it's all I'm doing. He was such a wonderful artist.

Goddamn that Frank Turner performance is hard to watch. It’s like he’s doing everything he can to not just completely break down.

 

Strangely, I find some of those lyrics comforting at this time.

It’s been my favorite track off that release since it came out. Tough to get all the way through it currently though.

I can appreciate the sentiment but in my opinion, this is an awful cover. :/

 

Favorite cover i've seen so far is Craig Finn doing Head Rolls Off.

I can’t find the full link now either, shit. I just love his voice for it, or maybe the lyrics for his voice, i guess.

 

I think Andy sounds great/emotional here. Felt a lot of things watching it.. so idk why it’s a bad cover

 

I like the cover a lot, but they did definitely Manchester Orchestra-ize the song. If you’re not a fan of that style I could see why someone wouldn’t like it.

Personally I dig when a band makes a cover their own though.
