I bought it too, but I like Spotify for playlist organizing.

"Its disappearance was due to a technical error, a representative for Spotify said."

Only listened to this because of the hype, not really too aware of his other stuff bar that collab with Kendrick, loving it though. Pink + White and Self Control have been on repeat last few days.

Channel Orange is an essential album

I've heard, I've been meaning to give it a listen, but how does it compare to Blonde, both in a critical and stylistic sense?

Less sparse...more hip-hop...more light-hearted in a sense but still has emotional depth.

i really love this album (blonde). it's only gotten better and i'm glad that as much as i was looking forward to it, i somehow never let myself get carried away in the hype that built and built for years until it finally came out.

Definitely a grower. Still not sold on this, or Channel Orange tbh, as an album. But both are packed with great songs.
Self control is great, I really dig Nikes too. Pink and White and Solo are also good.

Channel Orange is one of my favourite albums ever but I think I may love Blonde just a little bit more now

  24. I listen to this weekly still, Self Control is probably my favorite song of the year.
