Solo - Skyline To - Self Control is dope as hell

 

I think, bc Facebook Story guy keeps using the word "virtual," we are supposed to recognize how its a strange she based her trust in him through a virtual reality rather than reality itself

But come on dude. Get with the 21st century. Just add her as a friend lol

 

Pink + White and Siegfried are the only ones not sticking with me after listen 7 or so

 

Siegfried is so good though

 

listening for the first time. first three tracks have all been pretty great.

 

The lyrics are, yes, but nothing in the track catches me. Always zone out during it

 

have liked this more and more with each listen and I've played it 20 times now

Self Control might beat A Change Of Heart for song of the year for me haha but it had an impressive 8 month run

 

idk that part where the strings come in always sounds amazing to my ears

I just barely got off work and went to my car and my keys are locked in so I'm leaning against my car waiting for my wife to bring me the spare and I'm listening to this and I'm not mad at all. City is gorgeous as hell im just leaning on my car soaking it all in and Nights is crushing me rn

 

car just drove by me while I was at a poke stop and the people inside started singing ivy and it was beautiful.

"Solo" is fucking stellar. Wow.

 

White Ferrari might be my favorite after a few listens

 

I'm loving Blonde (this album is clearly of large proportions and scope, so I'm not going to try and even dive into my more intricate thoughts beyond that, haha) and hearing a lot of hook-y elements in here even though a lot of people seem to be claiming the lack of them as reasoning for why they're less into the record. I always find stuff like that really interesting. Like "Nights," which I'm on now, to me has some very clear chorus moments.

Also, so much guitar. Damn, what a pleasant surprise.

Anyways, still need to come around to Endless. As with Lemonade, the 'visual album' thing is holding me back. not sure what it is about that as a concept that holds me back from latching on. Anybody else have this problem at all?

Doesn't matter, though. Frank is back. Everything's good and nothing hurts.

 

"White Ferrari" is such beautiful chaos. His high register is as angelic as ever in the middle of that song

self control, solo, nikes, nights, white ferrari and Siegfried are what I starred after my first listen, but this is really good all around. love endless too but not quite as much.

 

Holy shit, okay, just finishing Blonde now. This album is fucking beautiful. So realized and, most importantly, worth the wait.

 

On both his albums, tracks 14-16 are the strongest sections

 

"Godspeed" and "Seigfried" are really amazing. This album is a huge grower
