Definitely a better arrangement than the last time they played this acoustically

Good to see that after all this time being away they really crafted some new bangers.

He's still extremely bitter about the way things went down. Definitely not involved.

    Haha oh.

I thought I had seem something suggesting they had made up or something

If that happened, I haven't seen it. Hopefully that's true though. The most recent one I saw was the "Sick artwork, guess that pop-rock record didn't work out" or something like that.

Meh, I really can't care about anything this band does after all the JJR involvement.

So this year they're re-releasing one of their old albums, as well as releasing an album full of songs from their old albums.

It's like printing money at this point.

  20. The acoustic renditions on the deluxe EOTW were great. Unfortunately, I don't feel justified in supporting this band anymore after the JJR controversy. They really picked the wrong hill to die on by continuing to work with him.

Weren't they kinda losing steam before that?

  22. Sorta. They took a break for a few years due to some extreme backlash from their third record, then took on a "return to form" kind of angle and pretty sure they haven't been nearly as successful ever since. The JJR stuff did not help.

I will say that I think this is less of a cash grab/nostalgia release than people are making it out to be. There are only like 3 songs on this from their earlier, more successful records -- the rest seem to be more recent songs. Many reasons to shake your head at FYS but I don't think this is one of them.

You would think, but their past tour sold out except for two places I believe. Now, they may have been playing smaller venues. They were so good too

They probably have one more album in them, and that will be it

I thought they were done with JJR, but I guess not. I'll have to pass on this one. :(
