Although I go to bed at 12 so maybe that's ok

Everyone (that eats meat) should make these burgers. So good and quite easy to make.

 

Coffee and alcohol are gonna be what I'm really giving up if I do this.

When my coworker was explaining this it seemed a lot more daunting. Looking over the recipes it seems pretty doable. The lady and I have been down to 1500 calories a day anyway for the last month and half so the amount doesn't differ much. It's just cutting out all the processed food. But I figure I can try and live clean for 2 weeks so that while we are in Vegas I can treat my body like shit.

 

These look like a really good take on a delicious, simple burger. Good choice!

 

It was sort of a revelation when he said "don't fuck with the shit" when it came to making patties. I'm not even joking.

 

It's crazy how good just a simple beef burger can be.
made some the other day with just salt and pepper sprinkled on each side, and they were the best burgers i've had in a long time.

 

That's all burgers need. Some love on the outside + fatty beef + good cheese + good bread/buns. You're there.

 

What do you mean? Like no other toppings?

 

I mean if you have good beef that's seasoned simply... the burger is going to be phenomenal. People who put eggs and breadcrumbs and crazy seasonings on/in their burgers generally make some of the worst burgers I've ever had.

There's a place where I live that claims to have invented the burger. I finally got around to eating there and it was awful.

Unseasoned beef on white bread with a tomato and onions. Fuck "authenticity" or whatever they are going for. Don't charge me 10 bucks for ground beef and white bread.

Yeah, and it's stupid because all of my pans need to be replaced and I need a new set of knives and better baking stuff.

 

What's the difference between that and just using a dedicated mini fridge with a fan? Seems a little pricey.

 

I don't know if I told you, I'm buying a house! We're completely remodeling the kitchen, so I'm picking every detail in it, including the appliances. I'm freaking out over the possibilities haha.
