I've been drinking water every day in January and I can stomach it now.

 

Anyone out there using a Sous Vide cooker? I've never been so excited about a product before, they're just as amazing as you imagine.

I would say nothing more than $30 for an entree. Staying at holiday Inn express Hermosa Beach, so something close to that is preferable!

 

If you like poke, you are right by a really really great Hawaiin-style place called Jus Poke, I go there quite often.

Walking down the Redondo Pier is nice if you want to wander and have a ton of options (I don't have specific recommendations there, but there's a ton of stuff) If you go down to the pier, and you like beer, Naja's Place has one of the best tap lists in the entire city, it's also next to a really cool little local brewry called King Harbor

A bit more north down at Hermosa Beach itself, you'll find Hermosa Beach Fish Shop which has a solid selection of fish tacos (basically pick your fish, your seasonings, and mix and match whatever you want). I also go here once every other week, always like trying different things. The Fish Shop Chowder is a perfect side for a fish taco.

On the main drag in Hermosa, you'll find some amazing brunch food at The Hook and Plow, closer to the beach you'll find Abigaile and Dia De Campo for amazing small plates (gets a little pricer than other places).

I don't know if I should be happy or sad that my friends constantly tag me in posts about super big burritos. They just tagged me in a 6 pound burrito post.

They know I love a good burrito.

 

last night's dinner:

Baked Potato Pizza buttery, garlic baby red mashed potatoes and topped with broccoli, fresh-diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese and chopped bacon. Served with a side of sour cream.
The Blue Dog Topped with San Marzano tomatoes, roasted asparagus, chopped bacon, red onion, blue cheese, fresh arugula and mozzarella.
