That's what I use for my french press because it makes me feel fancy.

I know the feeling well.

I just really like the whole process of it, I love setting up french press and the kettle just adds to the little routine.

 

Yeah I love the press and the coffee I make with it, would be better if I had a more precise way to heat the water

 

Y'ALL. I went and got Thai with a friend and there's a blizzard and there was a guy to put tarp on our windshield and then brush off the snow when we got back like wtf kinda amazing service and he wouldn't accept a tip! Apparently he works for the restaurant and goes around to the locations and helps out in amazing ways!

 

There has been a ridiculous amount of food at my office lately. Why does everyone gear up for Christmas by making cookies and cakes two weeks ahead of time and then fattening their co-workers?

I tried to make vegetarian wedding soup today because my mom is sick. She said she liked it but she's also a very nice person and would lie if she didn't like it and she also will eat just about anything so idk. I was disappointed with it. Didn't taste like I wanted. I need to ask my nana for her recipe and just use veggie broth instead and see how that goes. Forever sucking at cooking

That sounds fantastic. I was thinking something in the realm of chicken tortilla (minus the tortilla). Could do everything but the hominy - I may give that a shot!
