just threw together an incredibly quick and crude late night snack dish because im insanely high on the pot. here's what i did. i made two of these


take tortilla
put shredded mexicanstyle cheese all over tortilla
cook in microwave til cheese is melted (55 seconds for me)
spread sour scream across tortilla
crush up tostitos scoops along inside of tortilla
put big dollop of guacamole in the middle
roll up

it's very good.

 

80% of mexican food consists of the same ingredients arranged differently, and I like your arrangement. Kinda like a queso-quito (quesadilla / taquito)

 

I made enchiladas whilst high on pot and they blew my mind. Obvious pattern is obvious.

 

Speaking of Mexican food I'm cooking slow baked chicken thigh fajitas tonight.

Slow cook the chicken thighs in spices and then shred the meat off the bone and re-cook up with a nice tomato, jalapeno and spice sauce.

Although the desire to order a big cheesy greasy pizza is taking over so much right now.

 

I probably just did it wrong, but during my entire trip to Austin, TX, I didn't have any Mexican food that did it better than my local joints at home. I was pretty disappointed with most of the tacos.

The BBQ was top notch though.

 

Food for the week is most likely gonna be chicken tikka masala, salmon with some risotto, and a burger night before leaving for charleston Thursday afternoon.

 

People should start posting pictures of their meals too, I'm always intrigued by that kinda thing.

 

Defo want a picture of the tikka.

 

Doubt it'll be that impressive, hah. The sauce is pre-prepared. But I'll make sure to take one!

 

Mom got fancy and made steak omelettes this morning. It's gonna be a good day.

easter brunch today, can't wait.

 

I had 3 deviled eggs with my lunch today and I feel bad about it. I'm trying to eat healthier.

Just ate some amazing mac & cheese topped with barbecue brisket from a food truck. Gonna get an ice cream sandwich on fresh baked cookies later as well

 

Brunch. Time.

 

We're having a birthday dinner for my stepsister later and I'm really excited about the deviled eggs I expect to be there. If my dad is cooking the food will be excellent. If my stepmom is cooking.... at least I get a free meal!

 

I bet you're one of those freaks that can't gain weight and have an amazing metabolism..I gained 5lbs just from reading that. Macaroni is my favorite thing in the entire world.

 

Are deviled eggs an Easter thing? My grandmother makes them for every holiday

 

...can I plead the fifth? I also burn a lot of calories with how much drumming I do (about 8 hours most days) so it's that too

 

Why is cheese so good?

My dad is making food for later, hopefully I don't fall into a food coma on my drive back to school tonight.

 

Slow cooked, pulled chicken thigh fajitas (with salad, refried beans and extra mature Irish cheddar). Spent most of the afternoon cooking them, so good.
