yeah I only really use hot sauce if the dish calls for it -- tacos, chili, omelettes. Occasionally I'll be weird and put some on pizza or something, but usually only on one slice because I feel like the hot sauce is not supposed to be there and is fundamentally changing my meal

ranch dips only, bleu cheese is awful

I get black beans at practically every restaurant that offers them, and at least 90% of the time they are too spicy. :(

I'm also that person, everything should be spicy! And speaking of fries, they're best with spicy aioli.

    THOUGHTS:

Bleu cheese everything is delicious especially crumbles.

I like spicy food but I can barely handle it so I don't ever eat it.

I'll keep reading this thread and see if there is anything else that I feel compelled to comment on.

I highly suggest malt vinegar aioli with fries. If you like vinegar on your fries, that is. I'm also in the everything should have some element of spice to it camp and also something cool... it's about balance.

Have also dipped Cheetos in a variety of sauces when under the influence of plant substances.

The only place I know of that has vinegar for fries is Five Guys

I only use malt vinegar on fries if I'm eating fish and chips

When I lived in Canada like every restaurant/fast food place had a bottle of vinegar right next to the ketchup.

Every sit-down restaurant has vinegar to put on fries. Most places that sell fries at an outside venue have it too (baseball games, amusement parks, boardwalks, etc).

Lol I mean I literally never see vinegar on any table I sit at at restaurants. Unless you meant they have vinegar that you can ask for them to bring out.

Well yeah it's just nice in Canada bc you never had to bother your server it was just sitting there always. I hate asking servers for anything tbh

I remember that. Even the McDonalds I ate at in Vancouver had packets of malt vinegar for french fries... it blew my mind haha. I wouldn't worry about asking them for vinegar. Just ask for it when you place your order.

The most stressful moment about any dining experience is asking the waiter or waitress to split the check. I have gotten scoffed at and guilt-tripped before. So weird and unprofessional.

When I was a waitress I always split them no matter what. Everybody wins.
