Might try me a Grand Mac this weekend


McDonald's Testing New "Grand Mac" and "Mac Jr." In Dallas

 

Anyone make their own salsa or guac here? Looking for new recipes...

 

Guac: Avocado, tomato, purple/red onion, lime juice. It's simple but good.

 

Adding to that, cilantro, maybe garlic, cayenne is optional, salt to taste

 

Oh yeah, cilantro would make it 10x better. I'll have to remember that.

 

Ok I had the Grand Mac. It's like a Big Mac but Double Whopper size

 

Guac is disrespectful to avocados imo

Salsa is near impossible to fuck up and is delicious always

 

2 part disagreement: guacamole is the pinnacle of what an avocado can hope to be, and there are plenty of ways to mess up salsa

 

Guacamole and avocado slices are both beautiful in their own ways

But yeah there is plenty of fucked up salsa out there

Supposedly I'm going to get Mexican food tonight because my sister is supposed to be showing up here with dad+his wife so we can all go but it's 8 and they're not here so I'm wondering if they went without me

Can anyone ID this herb? Someone at workbrought a bunch of herbs from home and I grabbed a little of each but not sure what this one is

 

Looks like Coriander to me.

 

Nah, coriander is cilantro and this is definitely not that

 

I just had a grouper sandwich and onion rings from this place called Birds in town. It was divine.

 

I went to the Cheesecake Factory for supper. Don't worry I tweeted Drake about it. I had a few bites of shepard's pie and then a big ass piece of cheesecake.

 

I love when you say supper. I always picture you as like an 80 year old high class southern lady when you do

 

I use both interchangeably, but probably say dinner a lot more. I always worry that being part of a larger community is robbing me of my southern-ness!

I made pasta and mashed potatoes tonight. Thought I was being fancy because the potatoes were made with ricotta and then put under the broiler to brown the top, but it was pretty average

 

Drake have something against Cheesecake Factory?

 

I say dinner and have always thought supper was pretty silly
