Yes I never knew that was regional either lol. It's just what the menus say so I never questioned it!! I guess I use it interchangeably with potato wedges but like 90% of menus say jojos!

It's like when I moved from California and people called soda "pop" and I was like wtf is this and it still sounds so wrong like someone just jammed a nail in my ear

 

I am forever accidentally buying lactose free milk but it tastes the exact same!!

I only buy regular milk if I need it for cooking, and even then it's usually half n half or heavy cream.

I used to buy almond milk. I like it! But I only use milk for cooking or sooooometimes cereal so i dont buy it very often cause it tends to expire before I use it all. But when I do I almost always accidentally buy lactose free lol

 

What is 'fry sauce'?

It's like thousand island but not quite? A lot of places put it on their burgers as a "secret sauce" and it's usually pinkish, they just don't call it fry sauce. I think Raising Cane's sauce is fry sauce but I've never been. But in the PNW it's just another condiment option like ketchup to have with ur fries.

 

I just imagine fry sauce as that sauce from that burger movie with Keenan and Kel

 

I was going to say that too lol! A lot of people not from here say it sounds gross but I'm sure they've all had a variation before and it's just not called the same thing.

When u go to in n out u can ask for packets of the burger sauce and bam u got fry sauce!!

I don't want to wait the 15 minutes just for my burger

 

I'm still bitter about the last time I went to in n out and my sister ordered me "just cheese" instead of "grilled cheese" and it was only sad melted cheese between two buns

 

I'll send you a grilled cheese to make up for that tragedy.
