We buy a lot of chicken thighs from Costco and I'm always on the lookout for new ways to prepare them. Definitely giving that a try.

Made muffins that are vegan and no added sugar. They are... Okay. I think they could be better but they're not bad at all. I think I'm so used to thinks being super sweet and sugary so my barometer is off. I have a feeling I'm like "eh they're just okay" and then I'll find myself waking up at midnight and eating three of them

I'm ordering my first two All-Clad (at least one will be Copper Core) cookware pieces today. I've been saving up Williams Sonoma gift cards for the past 5 years in anticipation. I couldn't be more excited to finally have some nice cookware.

Was thinking of investing in some new cookware, I bought a t-fal 15 piece set 6 years ago that I think was pretty decent. I was thinking of upgrading recently but honestly don't know what's best lol

For the longest time I told myself I was going to buy a brand new cookware set, but I've come to the realization that doing so is a mistake. Buy the pieces that you need individually. If you're looking for a cookware line or recommendation, I'd look at All-Clad's D3 Stainless Steel lineup. Lifetime warranty and the industry standard for a reason. This review convinced me:

If you want to splurge, get the copper core. D5 is an option too, but for a much lower price and almost idential performance, D3 seems like the smarter investment.

Disclaimer: As I say this, I'm looking at D5 and D3 skillets. Trying to convince myself not to buy copper core (and even D5) everything because of the price.

I'd love a nicer collection of stainless stuff like All-clad. Everything I own is teflon except for my $40ish stainless 12" cuisinart that gets the job done for pan frying meats, which is my main use, but I do find it to have hot/cold spots which gets annoying sometimes. Using that for almost everything except for eggs.

This is a solid deal right now, 12" D3 pan with a lid for $130:

Sorry I don't mean to post too much about cookware, but I've been diving down this rabbit hole for the last week and I'm really close to pulling the trigger.

Got some ramp cream cheese from a mushroom shop a few blocks over. It’s incredible, never had ramps before. I’m going back tomorrow for their ramp butter

I've built up a collection of Misen cookware over the years and I've been pretty happy with them. From what I can tell they're good quality and at a reasonable price
