I never even really got people who say they like early Foo stuff but that's it. They're extremely consistent, they've basically never changed from the beginning

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

for me personally, the first three are all-timers and then it's like they committed to alternating between fantastic albums and lesser ones. In Your Honor, Wasting Light and Concrete & Gold? all rip hard. the others have moments of absolute inspiration and some great songs, but there's just songwriting and production issues that knock them down from where they could be

this is a weird one to me since every album sounds different than the last lol

My fucking dog is dying today and between this news and that, I’m just a big sad wreck.

  8. Learn to Fly was MASSIVE even years after it came out so obviously I've heard that before but the likes of Breakout, Generator and M.I.A. are extremely my shit. had this on in transit to Glasgow Airport yesterday and going out over the M8 listening to Aurora was an incredible experience. some fantastic drumming on TINLTL to back up these songs.

Love Come Back, particularly the 3-guitar breakdown in it. For some reason, people love to bag on One By One (including Dave himself) but i enjoyed it much more than In Your Honor, Echoes & Silence, Sonic Highways and Concrete & Gold.

Yep Aurora and A320 are absolute peak Foo Fighters.

Need a petition to get A320 on streaming for real .....

The demos for One By One are imo much better than the album. There’s like five classics on there and a bunch of throwaway tracks.

  18. I revisited One By One yesterday (still need to finish) and yeah, the singles are killer and classic FF but rather than actively bad, I just can't remember half of the songs after I listen to them. "Disenchanted Lullaby" always feels twice as long as it is to me and "Tired of You" never really goes anywhere

  19. Honestly In Your Honor is the most underrated FF record for my money, a little filler on the first disc but really not as much as you'd expect from a double-album. "No Way Back" was on some sports game and was the first song of theirs I think I heard actually
