    2 - 1 France, told you

Honestly disagree. France at full strength I’d agree with you but with the injuries I think England have a better team and a better squad even with France a full strength. Ultimately came down to the managers. I don’t think Deschamps is a world class manager but he’s a winner unlike Southgate.

  4. Definitely felt like There should’ve been a few more mins of play

Pretty surprised France was able to win with Mbappe being such a non-factor and Upa looking as sketchy as he often does for Bayern.

griezmann has been an absolute machine this tournament and giroud has such a nose for the goal

You know, I’m okay. We played well this tournament, and have gone out to the best side in the world.

Our players don’t need to feel embarrassed or anything. They all did okay, all of them. We have a lot of young players like Bellingham, Rice, Saka, Foden, Rashford, and they will only get better and better. We’ll be a contender at the Euros for sure.

Fully on board the Morocco train now though. Hope they go all the way!

My concern going forward is more about Kane’s age tbh. 31 at the euros, 33 at the next world cup.

Morocco/Croatia final is the only thing anyone should be rooting for unless they just love Messi

Yeah was going to say similar. England have a couple of decent strikers, but no real Kane replacement.

Plus, by the next world cup we could have Chukwuemeka, Patino, and who knows who else. We’re producing world beating youngsters and the future is bright.

Skipp and Balogun are the two that come to mind as very promising strikers impressing in good Leagues. But it’s hard to know. Kane didn’t set the world alight anywhere before getting his chance.

    We think Southgate will stay?

It's strange, before the tournament I'd have said it was getting towards the end of his cycle and a change would be good. Got a young squad though and actually played quite well all tournament.

I haven’t said anything this whole tournament but half drunk rn so screw it. That was probably the best we played all tournament and we can leave with our heads held high. It’s unfortunate about the result but there’s so much positive to take forward to the next tournament

Normally I’d be making “spursy”, “allergic to trophies” jokes or whatever but nah, fuck that. So unlucky. We played well and our future is bright. Kane has been great for us but has unfortunately made costly mistakes in two world cups in a row. Gutted for him.

Rashford, Bellingham, Foden and Saka all played so well this tournament.

    It's all hell.

It had to be Giroud. Constantly breaking my heart since leaving Arsenal.

  18. The chemistry between Saka Bellingham and Kane was awesome to watch. Hopefully Kane can stay at a high level four years from now.

Honestly we should have made changes much earlier than we did

Rice has been fantastic too. The Bellingham - Rice midfield is fantastic. We need a third to go with them as Henderson isn't the long term option - someone with his tenacity but with a bit more quality.

Honestly, the England squad is in such a great place moving forward.

Yeah, Hendo looked off pace tonight

Genuinely hope Kane can stay at a high level, even if he still scores two penalties against Arsenal a season. My worry is his injury record catching up with him.

  23. Would’ve liked to have seen Maddison with those two more often

Genuinely think this will be Patino. The lad has everything, it’s crazy. He’s been one of the best players in the championship at 18 and will be with the main team next year.

Are we winning 2-1 in those games!?
