It would be the most England thing ever to win at a tournament that everybody already hates.

I don't think we will (I'm worried we might fully South Africa this one), but can you imagine...

Just heard Three Lions for the first time since the Euros and I feel ready.

 

I'm really interested to see how Brazil and Argentina do this time out. They're both looking strong, whilst the usual European suspects all have issues right now. Thing is, I don't think either Brazil or Argentina have played any of the top European sides recently, so it's hard to know where they'll be.

Also, can't remember the last time Argentina went in as genuine contenders.

 

Yeah, I think they are the two favourites for the first time since 06.

I often think the pressure from those countries (and England tbf) is a hindrance.

 

I know Italy didn’t make the WC, but did win the Euros, and Argentina thrashed them in that Euros vs Copa game. I don’t think they’ve lost in 3 years, iirc
