Stoked on the 2nd announcement, tons of bands I want to see, specially The Lawrence Arms!

 

According to recent admats

Menzingers are playing Friday
Rozwell Kid and P Daddy are playing Saturday

 

Mom Jeans, Just Friends, Awakebutstillinbed and Retirement Party are all on Saturday as well.

 

Tiny Moving Parts are going on tour with The Menzingers, so I am assuming they will be playing Friday as well, though they have not been announced yet, that I know of.

 

Yeah I was under the impression that all the bands had been announced. But hopefully they get added because they are awesome and makes a lot of sense if they do.

 

Tiny Moving Parts if definitely playing from the tour poster with Menzingers. Wonder if we'll get a couple more bands announced. Past years there have been third wave announcements, although its not scheduled on the website this year.

 

If I looked correctly, there are 312 bands announced thus far. I wouldn't be surprised if there was possibly 25 more announced. Plus, there are going to be bands dropping off and others taking their place, etc. And, yea, Tiny Moving Parts playing would be fantastic, pretty sure they have played before.

 

Yeah last year we got random last minutes such as Crime In Stereo (and I can't remember if Movielife was second wave or random third)

TMP would be cool and an awesome band to see in that environment

 

Tiny Moving Parts did play a couple years ago. I remember drunkenly singing along to their Springsteen cover set but I don't remember any of the specifics haha

 

Looks like Tiny Moving Parts aren't playing...bummer

menzingers and such gold at the same time F my life

menzingers HAVE to be a friday mystery band though right? almost guaranteed

 

Yeah I'm bummed about that conflict as well but I'm seeing Such Gold tonight so oh well lol

I also have a feeling that's what that High Dive set is but who knows

 

So many conflicts but thankfully I'm going to pre Fest so I can catch most of the bands there and then not stress during Fest if I end up missing a set. I know not everyone can do pre Fest but I definitely recommend it if you can swing it.

 

That Orpheum show on Thursday is straight fire

 

Is Pre Fest starting to dwindle away? Only 45 bands and 2 venues. The first 2 years I started going to this I did Pre Fest and there were at least double the amount of bands and several more venues being used.

 

Yeah, no Tequilas this year, apparently they knew since the beginning since less bands for Pre Fest were announced.

Stoked on the schedule, there's 5 mystery sets on Friday at the same time...I'd prefer for them to be more spread out.

As for mystery sets, hoping for TLA, Banner Pilot, Dead to Me

 

There's 5 at the same time at 5:30 and then 3 more at the same time at 1am

Kinda mad about that. I would also like PKEW and Red City Radio to do mystery sets

 

Need to look at a few time slots again, but barring something drastic in terms of the mystery and tba slots, I am looking at the below schedule most likely.

Since it's in the middle of the week I think they weren't getting as many people as expected for sure. I'm kinda glad they cut down to two venues, trying to run between multiple venues while dodging chickens and drunk Ybor folk was never a good time.

I can't even begin to put together my schedule til the app is released.

 

I think I may leave Mustard Plug a little early on Sunday to catch Mercy Union at Durty Nelly's. Since I may not be able to catch The Scandals or Jared's solo set, this seems like a good time to watch the new band. Plus, the new song sounds really good.
