    "Walkaways" - Counting Crows

Such a short but sweet ending to a great, dynamic record. I feel like I can never listen to that song just once. So much feeling packed into 1:12..

It's already been mentioned, but Holly Wood Died is definitely my favorite album closer. Also, really love "Skyscraper" on Touche Amore's new album.

Off the top of my head:

    Anberlin - *fin
Andrew Peterson - Don't You Want to Thank Someone
    Bon Iver - re: stacks
Copeland - In Her Arms You Will Never Starve
    Julien Baker - Go Home
    Mew - Louise Louisa
mewithoutYou - In a Sweater Poorly Knit
    Relient K - When I Go Down
    Sufjan Stevens - Impossible Soul
    Thrice - Red Sky

It's funny. There are four Sufjan Stevens albums I prefer over The Age of Adz but "Impossible Soul" is still a freakishly good closer.

    I do not exist.

That song is ruined for me by the outro.

I don't really think of that as a closer because Kanye refers to everything after "Frank's Track" as bonus songs. So technically "Wolves" is the closest thing to a closer on that album imo

I didn't know that, although if I could re-sequence the album I'd close with Wolves (if St Pablo wasn't an option).
That said, No More Friends in LA is one of the strongest tracks on the album and I can't relegate it to 'bonus track' status in my mind. The other tracks after Wolves/Frank's Track fit that criteria though.
Also if you consider Frank's Track to end the real album, damn that's a great run of songs to close out the record.

I was listening to the Sparrow and Friends album stream, the closing song on it could easily be a lost Copeland song. Aaron Marsh sounds amazing. So that would be up there as one of my favourite closing songs of 2016 now.

  21. Rob Hughes

    Play the Yakuza series

First one that sprang into mind for me is The Wonderful Future by Our Lady Peace (although, I think any closer from Clumsy to Spiritual Machines could be considered as favourite closers imo)

    Other closers for me are:
Take It or Leave it by The Strokes
    Admit It!!! by Say Anythng
Trippin' the Life Fantastic and Love Me a Good Microcosm by Weatherbox
Forever Halloween by The Maine (2 spooky)
Into the Airwaves - Jack's Mannequin
    Dendron - The Hotelier

"Dusk and Summer" is my favorite Dashboard album and I really wanted to say "Heaven Here," but then I remembered they tacked "Vindicated" onto the end of the album. Not nearly as good of a closing track IMO. To me the record ends after HH haha
