they don't seem to bother with their specialty burgers anymore. they're featuring the big bacon classic, which is great, but used to be a standard burger and you can order one very easily by adding bacon to a dave's single.

 

I will say I liked the s'awesome burger, but the big bacon classic and and bacon mushroom melt are miles better

 

bro I don’t go into your operating room and tell you how to fix rockets

I had Wendy’s breakfast this morning
I tried the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and thought it was pretty good, probably better than McDonald’s version
Then I had the maple bacon croissant and I didn’t really like it
The home fries are great
And I also tried my dudes honey butter biscuit and that was dank too
Overall a good new choice for breakfast imo

 

Whoever created those Wendy's breakfast potatoes is my new hero and I will gladly lay down my life for them

I’m very picky about fast food breakfasts and this sounds like the exact kind I like. I might have to go out on a weekend and try it since I almost never eat breakfast out otherwise.

 

I too tried Wendys breakfast this morning. First of all, @Anthony_ was right about the potatoes. They were the star of the meal. If @aliens exist ever found himself in the states, and I pray he doesn’t, we can all rest easy knowing he could find some of the comfort of home at Wendy’s™

I got the breakfast Baconator out of morbid curiosity. It tasted okay but good god was it excessive. I thought the breakfast burger at Whataburger was ridiculous but this thing feels like it was engineered to destroy your cholesterol levels. I finished it only because I hate myself.

overall it was fine. I’m not in a huge rush to go back or anything.

 

oh ya and I tried the honey butter. it was wack.

 

My idea of a Wendy's breakfast is just snagging a spicy chicken sandwich, bringing it home and slapping a fried egg on it.

I went this morning, had a honey butter chicken biscuit and home fries.

The honey butter's smell is VERY strong, but it felt almost flavorless, so a swing and a miss there.

But fuck, those home fries absolutely ruled. Literally the entire menu can exist to support the home fries as a delivery mechanism for them. Top tier.

 

The biscuits are better than the ones at McDonald's, definitely would say the move is either a Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit or a Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit. And then get the maximum amount of potatoes that they can legally give to a single person.

 

One thing I didn't get was Wendy's coffee. I had it, like, once before in my life but I don't remember whether it was good or not. Must not have been that remarkable if that's the case. Hard to compete with the quality of McDonald's coffee at the price it costs, though.

no egg mcmuffin in this is a deal breaker imo

 

I prefer the Sausauge mcmuffin with egg anyway so...

I know it's still lacking the shrooms, but in case you didn't realize it, you can order a side of the cheese sauce at Wendy's and dump it on your baconator or whatever.
