I will always remember DJ by his Scrubs role first and foremost

I'll always remember DJ Qualls because he is not, in fact, a disc jockey.

He's also prominent in Supernatural. I'm liking this season more and more with each episode, feels weird that it's almost over though

DJ Qualls is Hurley's friend from Lost for me haha. Got so hype when Wrench showed up and those drums kicked in. Fuq yeah

That episode felt so short! Mr Wrench! I still don't know where this is going to go or how it's going to wrap in just 3 more episodes.

I think the main reason people think this season is too slow is that every episode ends with things ramping up/some big shocking moment, and then the next episode will start off slow again. It's like every time there's some momentum and it's picking up steam it ends, and starts cold a week later.

DJ Qualls making cameos on the best shows.

I'm still wondering how that intro to the season will tie in.

I really like the idea that when all is said and done, Mr. Wrench is the only character to appear in all three seasons

Unless Molly or Lou show up this season

  10. Where was Mr. Wrench last season? Drawing a blank

Edit: oh yeah, I vaguely remember wrench and numbers appearing as kids in the finale now. Man, I'm gonna have to go back for a series rewatch when this season ends.

Numbers and Wrench were kids during the last season

That Numbers/Wrench drum theme is so goddamn good. My heart started beating faster when I heard it. Made me a little nostalgic for season 1.

Interesting how, when calliing Sy's wife fat, Varga says fat people are sensualists and inherently untrustworthy, when he has a binge/purge habit (which we can assume would make him much fatter if he didn't purge).

Hawley is a busy dude, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a long time before we get another season. I would be surprised if this is the end though.

The man's name was Yuri Gurka, which is the name of Varga's Russian henchman. It's implied that he was the man who strangled the other Yuri's wife. Not sure if it'll tie in any more than that, other than the scene sort of embodying the season's theme of truth vs belief.

I haven't read much of the thread, but what is the general consensus of this season? I'm really not a huge fan. It's been a chore to get through, though the last episode seemed a bit of an improvement.

The majority (if not all) of this thread is super on board while acknowledging it's a slower and different beast.

For real though, it has PLODDED. I also don't think it has as many interesting or captivating characters as year's past - but then again I've never been a HUGE Ewan fan.

Re-watched it up to this point. It moves a lot faster in context with the last couple of episodes, minus the California one.

  22. Yeah I said something like this in many more words in here a few weeks ago. I think think the slower burn is awesome and all but it's the characters I haven't been huge on.

Mind is still blown at last weeks ep though, cannot wait to see where this goes

Cannot stop thinking about the final moments of the last episode and where this is going to go from there. I have no clue where this is all going to end up and I love that the show is able to pull that off yet again. I also don't know what I'm going to do when I'm not counting down the minutes until Wednesdays at 10:00 anymore.

Yeah this is devastating, but I guess he wants to focus more on Legion and the million other things he has going on.

But yeah, at least we still have Legion! Honestly I probably love that first season of Legion pretty much the same as I love all three Fargo seasons.
