Who has the better defense going forward ? Titans or Rams ?

I’m just worried how the whole Conner/bell situation will turn out. Guy in my league who lost ajayi this week has nuk/Odell/Hilton/kupp so I’m seeing if he will part with any of them for an RB and one of my lower end WRs

And there’s no way I’ll utilize all those RBs

 

I have a weird mix of lottery ticket RBs at the bottom of my roster currently. Is Jamaal Charles a better vet than them at this point?

Top to bottom, I have Kareem Hunt, James Conner, Isaiah Crowell, Le'Veon Bell, Ronald Jones plus D'Onta Foreman stashed in my IR slot.

 

Charles is absolutely toast now I can't imagine him doing anything

 

If I could get Corey Clement off waivers, should I drop Keelan Cole or Kenny Stills?

 

I feel like my roster is filled with a ton of flex options but no true RB2s or WR1s

WRs: JuJu, Cooks, Edelman, John Brown, Tyler Boyd, Allison
RBs: Gurley (obvious RB1), Freeman, Chris Thompson, Aaron Jones

JuJu and Cooks are capable of putting up WR1 numbers, but not consistently. I drafted Gronk pretty high, which typically goes against my own TE strategy, but I'd figure he'd technically be my WR1, but that's not working out. I'm 3-2 but would like to eventually try to package a bunch of theses decent flex options for a better suited RB 2 or WR 1 or 2 but I'm not really sure who to go for.

The Ajayi owner in my league is super shallow at RB already and has AJ Green, Adam Thielen and Antonio Brown. Would love to snag Green or Thielen but doubt I have the firepower.

Stills will have more "big games" most likely, but I think Cole is more consistent. Depends what type of player you like having on your bench

Luck throws the ball 50 times every game. He is functionally what Matt Stafford used to be...in that even in bad weeks, he'll throw for 300+ because you have to when your team doesnt run the ball ever.

When your running backs this week are Devonta Freeman and Tevin coleman (cause Kamara and Kerryon are on a bye) and you’re 2-3, I def think it’s called for to plug in Smallwood.

Or in his situation, his RB’s are Royce Freeman and Hines cause Ingram is on a bye and Bell is doing his thing.

 

My personal stance on waiver claims is only waste it for a) a long term starter solution or b) a guy who will be a sure-fire replacement for an injured player down for the year or a few months. In Philly’s case, their backfield is a very messy situation even with Ajayi out and Godwin just doesn’t move the needle for me to waste any waiver claim on, let alone no. 1.

 

I'm going to be on my fourth kicker this week because I drafted Boswell lol. I went Bailey (dropped a goose egg the first week I hadd him) and then Crosby. I'm going to try to get Fairbairn this week.

The idea of having both Hyde and Mayfield would worry me, whichever side of that trade you are on. Thats 2 players tied to an offense that, in a really good week, scores maybe 20 points. Also, unless its a 2QB league, there are probably people on waivers as good (or better) than Mayfield.

 

I’d be getting Wentz and Powell

 

Yeah aside from the eagles RBs the waiver wire this week is pretty bare

 

I just traded Duke Johnson and Keenan Allen for Sony Michel and ridley, it's a keeper league so I think I made out

 

Who's your other QB? If you got nothing at QB, then Id do it to get Wentz, and Powell isnt the worst flex option for bye weeks.

 

My other QB is Jameis. Basically my options are trading Hyde for Wentz or trading Shady McCoy for Kyle Rudolph and starting Jameis.

 

My brother in his league just got offered:

He receives: Bell/Baldwin

He gives us: Ridley, Golladay, C. Thompson

Is this a no brainer? His other running backs are not good. They are named Kamara and Zeke. Meaning he could have Kamara, Zeke, and Bell.

 

Jameis has a tasty match up this week though.
