It sounds like Conner's injury isn't serious, but that TE plug-in is too good to pass up should something happen further with Conner. Hell, they may sit Conner for precautionary reasons to get ready for the playoffs. Even if Conner does play and Samuels gets just a few carries, he'd still probably produce more than 90% of TEs in the league.

The no. 2 team in my league has Conner, so I can't risk letting him get Samuels.

 

Also, the No. 2 team in my league wasted a waiver claim on...Malcolm Brown last week, so now he's last in the waivers and Brown is done for the season.

 

Went 9-4 and 1st seed, no byes. It was very competitive this year 4 teams were vying for that #4 seed. Playoffs start this week let's eat

 

10-3 first seed. Won the last 6 weeks. Bye coming up. I fear losing in the semi finals though or losing someone major during the bye week to injury

Samuels value at TE is clutch...just lost Olsen in my main league, and the TE options SUCK, so Im all in on him the rest of the year as my TE

 

Alright, so as mentioned earlier, I put in a claim for Samuels. I'm No. 3 on the waiver claim and No. 1 and No. 2 are not in the playoff hunt so I should be good?

Starting Samuels over Gronk is going to be a WILD RIDE!

 

Man I'm bummed about Conner. So this week I'm trying to figure out my RB/Flex situation.

Pick 2 to start, one as RB2, one as flex - Spencer Ware, Sony Michel, or Jaylen Samuels (if I get him tonight).

 

Can you start Samuels at TE? That's my plan.

I remember years ago I started Joe Webb in the playoffs as a WR when he was playing Quarterback.

 

Man if I don’t get samuels my RB situation as of now is Chubb, kerryon (if he plays), and Ware.

Gonna be a nightmare choosing the correct 2 after Kamara.

 

I'm only interested in playing Samuels if I can plug him in at TE. Otherwise, I probably would never use him. That's the appeal to me.

 

This is pretty shitty reasoning. He definitely shouldn't have TE eligibility.

Trying to decide who to drop for Samuels.

Its a shallow 4 bench league. My bench is currently Bears D (starting Denver this week), Conner, Baldwin and Newton.

I have a bye this week, but leaning dropping Baldwin for Samuels for insurance. Am I crazy?

 

I probably wouldn't even bother going after Samuels if that OAK matchup wasn't soooooo tasty. My other RB's don't have particularly great matchups this week
