What would they play for any festival sets during the first tour? Let’s get this shit figured out.

I very much dislike MANIA and remember writing the band off at that point after not enjoying most of their post-reunion material. I straight up thought I would never enjoy another FOB release but in comes Stardust - a record I now actually love.

Pretty wild stuff to me but I’m all here for it! I personally think this is the best record they’ve released since Folie by a landslide.

    100%

I saw Underoath last year after they released Voyuerist, hoping I would get to hear at least 5 tracks off that live, only to hear 2 with the rest being the “hits”. Mega disappointing.

They still do the full album, but at double time so they have time for the hits even if they're not headlining

i have a love hate relationship with mania. theres days where i think its spectacular and days where i dont really like it. stay frosty is insane though. exceptional track. i also think i like champion and y&m more than most people would

Young & Menace has grown on me over the years. Still don't love it, but I like it a lot more than I did in 2017/2018

I love Young And Menace. Just a blast of raucous energy. Great to crank up while driving and just annoy the shit out of every other driver on the road. Plus "I only wrote this down to make you press rewind" is a great line.

Hate should be directed at ABAP, not Mania!

  11. They’re both awful

To all the Mania haters, listen to "Bishops Knife Trick" again - it signposts "Heaven, Iowa" pretty directly!

  13. I’m always shocked when someone knows a Fall Out Boy lyric haha.

I like Stardust……I will take SRAR over Mania and Stardust any day though.

I’ll probably take it over rest of their discography as well actually.I fell in love with them during IOH cycle, loved Folie but man SRAR is absolutely monster of album.Everything about that era was perfect.
Some songs on Stardust giving me that same feeling (Kintsugi,Heartbreak) so I like this a lot.

I still firmly believe Sunshine Riptide would have been a huge summer single.

I don’t understand liking Fall Out Boy and not liking Wilson.

I create content for some of your favorite artists

my only issue with Mania is the lyrics are very very repetitive. I feel like Church is the worst offender, the chorus is repeated about 14 times.

That said AB/AP is the worst of the post-hiatus and easily the worst FOB record. Yet still has a higher hit to miss ratio than other bands

My take on bands touring is that they should play whatever the fuck they want, except for the songs I don't wanna hear.

I would rank the post reunion albums as such:

Stardust>>> AB/AP (some of their worst work for sure but I still dig 3-5 tracks) > SRAR (I dig about 3 tracks) > MANIA (I don’t really dig any tracks)

    Assume It's A Bit

I would take every post-hiatus album over every pre-hiatus album barring Folie

I mean, I wouldn’t write a band off for not liking on album. Glad you gave this a chance.
