It does admittedly feel like the kind of thing you'd do with a closer, but then again, maybe I just feel that way because Marianas Trench does it on every album.

 

it's a perfect centerpiece for the record imo

 

I've always been team What a Catch as second to last and then Coffee's for Closers as last

That song is an amazing outro

 

Folie would be a worse album with Catch as the closer. It is an anomaly, lyrically speaking, to the rest of the record and for that reason alone, it works well as a centerpiece. West Coast is loud, chaotic, and frustrated at the rambunctious narcissism plastered throughout the record. Folie speaks from the perspective of a society that is too engorged by its own swagger to realize the foundation quaking from under it. The album ends perfectly.

 

Anybody got the vinyl for Folie? I'd imagine What A Catch has to end Side B.

 

Per Discogs it's the second song on side C.

 

Real missed opportunity there.

I’ve been trying to get their entire discography on vinyl, did not realize how rare Infinity, Folie, and SRAR have become

 

Boy oh boy do I regret selling my IOH clear w/ blue white splatter when I couldn't afford rent a few years ago!

 

I got lucky and snagged a recent IOH repress. And got SRAR from a friend for $15. I just need FAD now. Last I looked was $50ish? Not too bad.

edit: okay the variant I have marked is closer to $70 now.

 

Amazon has it through moviemars for like 38 shipped? I’ve had luck with them in the past.

IIRC it had to do with the guitar from Disloyal Order fading into the intro?

 

Looks normal on Apple Music for me, but maybe it has to do with the music video being tacked onto the end on the Apple version so they differentiated the song and the video?

 

I thought this had to do with Nintendo due to the logo and I'm disappointed to find out this isn't the case
