I think they started at 8 tonight. I took a nap and rolled in late at about 8 and it sounded like they started then. Now waiting for FOB.

We got Dead On Arrival instead of Chicago Is So Two Years Ago. Should have swapped out Calm Before The Storm. Oh well. Still a good song.

Also in the normal portion of the set. Hum Hallelujah, "The Take Over, the Break's Over", and Bang the Doldrums are rotating between one another or they play multiple if they have extra time. Chicago is So Two Years Ago was switched out for Homesick at Space Camp for one night and Dead On Arrival another night. Sophomore Slump or Comeback Year got thrown in as an extra with William Beckett guest vocals for one night. Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet was switched out for 27 for one night.

Pete has stated that each show gets a unique Magic 8 Ball song but once a song has been played it becomes fair game to switch into the normal set on a whim. This happened for Bang the Doldrums, Homesick at Space Camp, Sophomore Slump or Comeback Year, 27, and Dead on Arrival.

Same. I joked about Dark Alley and Get Busy Living but didn’t actually expect them. I feel like Miss Missing You is one that won’t get a ton of play moving forward, so I’m glad I got to see them play it tonight.

Yea… I love Chicago a lot, but I have seen it before, I don’t think I’ve seen Dead On Arrival, so I’m content.

I’ll believe that when they play songs they’ve talked bad about before. Like Dark Alley and Get Busy. Then I’ll believe they’ll play anything.

I think 7 Minutes in Heaven already broke that just for the personal matter.

Sending Postcards or Pros and Cons might be the most surprising album deep cuts they could play. They didn't bother to play Postcards the last time they performed the album and they said Pros and Cons would be played for the first and last time ever at that show too.

  22. Greg

    The Forgotten Son Supporter

I saw them play 7 Minutes back in the day. Yo my knowledge, they’ve never played Dark Alley or Get Busy.

Okay, checked setlist.fm. It claims they played Get Busy Bamboozle 2006. Dark Alley has never been played, it seems.

  23. Greg

    The Forgotten Son Supporter

Obviously, I’m slightly exaggerating. They are playing some VERY deep cuts.

Had no idea they ever played that. Surprising then given how close it was to the suicide attempt. I always thought Dark Alley was more personal than 7 Minutes in regard to the subject.

I swear they played it on the Nintendo Fusion tour, but I don’t see any proof of it on setlist.fm
