Hey @Jason Tate --when you got your copy of Save Rock And Roll, didn't Rat a Tat have a different name? Or like something in paranthesis?

  3. I don't remember for sure, but it currently doesn't in my iTunes and I'm pretty sure that's the same file.

Loving Sunshine Riptide, @sophos34 @Jason Tate those drums are :ok::ok:, and absolutely love the chorus

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

This is seriously so good, Patrick is just on another level throughout this whole album.

Could have sworn you had it listed as something different either in the forums (rip) or on the original review. Can't find it anymore.

    From Genius:

“Eau de résistance” is a play on words: “eau de parfum/toilette/cologne” are French terms for perfume/cologne. As such, this line is referring to the “smell” of resistance.

    Love it.

Better Than This was the tentative title so probably that.

So, tour announcement this week yes?

I would love to see them do this album in full. They've never been a band to do that (since every album has at least 1 song they've never played live), and this seems like the perfect album to do front-to-back.

"I am the patron saint of lost causes"

"I'm about to go Tonya Harding on the whole world's knee" hehe, nice one.

As many of you said it before, it's a really great record. I didn't like AB / AP, and I was afraid with the quality of this one, but I'm am amazed now. I don't know why, but this album reminds me a bit of 'Folie à Deux', maybe because of the experimental things.

I was literally just about to comment on that lyric. 3rd listen and first time I caught that part. So great!

Better Than This is such a badass title. Wonder if people would hate on this song less if they had named it that. Only SR+R track never played live...

Thanks for digging this up, Jason!

Fall Out Boy has some of my favorite album tracks of any band and it kills me to know I probably won't get to hear some of them live (Rat-a-Tat being one).

I am just glad Hum Hallelujah has become somewhat of a staple lately.

Pete doesn't get enough credit for his word play

They’ve also never played The Mighty Fall. I kept hoping they would play Rat a Tat because Joe said he looked forward to it back in his Reddit AMA years ago, but alas...

Definitely feels like FAD with elements of SR&R, and a little bit of IOH and AB/AP. Really couldn’t have asked for more.

I think I mostly like this. I’m definitely impressed with the quality of songwriting, even if I’m not sure all these songs are totally up my alley, if that makes sense. It does feel in a lot of ways like modern FOB’s take on Folie, which also took a long time to grow on me.

I remember that AMA. Totally forgot about The Mighty Fall. They never played that one either. Bummer.

  25. Okay I was definitely worried that this one might turn out wack but they did it again goddamnit. Album is groovy as fuck and feels like a midpoint between SRAR and AB/AP
