There's definitely some evidence for this already. 3 awesome singles.

I always forget about Rat a Tat because the feature is cringecore but the song is huge.

Rat A Tat isn't my favorite SR&R song but I like it more than Miss Missing You and The Mighty Fall.
"Remember me as I was not as I am"

"But you need to lower your standards, because it's never getting any better than this."

Heck I even like Courtney Loves feature in the bridge.

Patrick's parts of Rat a Tat are great. Courtney's are very, very not

The mighty fall is like really funny for some reason. I wouldn't call it a good song but it's kinda fun. Overly agro Patrick vocals are pretty annoying tho tbh

The main things holding back those two records (that seems to be less apparent on the singles from Mania) are the vocal delivery putting a lot of focus on really awkward lyrics. I can handle Patrick whimsically saying stupid lyrics about Horseshoe crabs, but I can't take it seriously when he angrily says stuff like "You look so Seattle but feel so LA-ayayayayayayyyyyyyyyyaaaaaayyyy". But songs like Y&M seem a lot more fun and whimsical, which is what I'm into.

If you removed the Big Sean parts, “The Mighty Fall” would be pretty pretty pretty good. You can really hear Butch Walker’s influence in the instrumentation.

I don't even mind Big Seans part. I don't even hate the song. I really enjoyed it at the beginning but it's just kind of musically repetitive. It's the worst song on a really strong album.

The Mighty Fall is one of those songs where I think the sum of its parts are greater than the whole. It has cool bits (the Danny Elfman sample, the Rihanna-esque "ayys," the guitar riff) but I don't care too much about the complete song.

if u think the last 2 FOB albums r good i suggest you listen 2 Thriller or A Rush Of Blood To The Head or All The Right Reasons if you want to hear good C L A S S I C pop music

i thnk i was born in the wrong generation i only listen to 70s and 80s ROCK and all of the kids in my class think im a weirdo but theyre too busy being brainwashed by modern pop music to understand. this generation is OFFENDED by guitars and softened music up with electric beats and bad lyrics. i guess its like the Joker from the Dark Knight said, i actually havent seen that movie but i did see a picture on my FB timeline that had the Joker and these words on it so im sure its true, why should i apologize 4 the monster ive become when u havent apologized 4 making me this way? upvote this comment if you agree!
