Wow, yea this is definitely one of their most direct songs lyrically. Obviously there have been lines from others (or even all of Petal pretty much) but this is pretty consistently the whole song. Although even the previous released singles from this album have been pretty direct, seems like a trend for the album as a whole. I could see this one not being to everyone's taste (not even politically, I'm sure some prefer the more subtlety in general of getting your message across) but I do think the more direct-ness is wholly deserved for the times we're in. I dig it!

Just listened to the Sailor Jerry Podcast with Jordan Buckley and at the end of the podcast he says “we have a November-December tour, but I’m not sure if that’s been announced yet.” And then when Matt from the Bronx asked him more about Tid The Season Jordan said “I heard you me and Ice-T are gonna be hanging out soon, take that for that’s worth”
