literally my first time reading the site, I've heard of it in passing before.

Yeah, the site always sucks anyway. Their take is usually pretty shitty. Jordan may not be helping things, but his IG stories have been fairly subtle while Keith's public remarks have been a bit more pointed yet hyperbolic. I think it sucks for him to see his own brother avoid and block him and the other members while going on a solo tour that's been tastelessly marketed as the "his side of the story" tour. He's done book tours in the past (though actively promoting a new book), and this was setup before the breakup, but the way the promo for it changed post-breakup is pretty shitty. Now the Q&A portion is making headlines along with the video of Keith singing Thing With Feathers with some guy on guitar, which probably hurts given the meaning of the song. Neither of them are handling the situation perfectly and neither of them hold all of the fault/blame, but one of them is making a meal out of the situation with a 6 date tour run and that looks a little worse at this point (especially given the fact that their lawyers are currently wrapping up a legal band settlement).

Oh yeah - Metalsucks has been trash for a while now haha

When it comes to the details of the conflict - I’m on neither “side” personally. I just think the whole thing sucks and imagine that both sides have done shitty things (AKA - it takes two to tango) that hasn’t helped the matter.

The entire thing just makes me immensely sad. These guys created a STELLAR record that they sat on for 2 years after taking their time to craft it. Fans waited almost 6 years for it too.. and now they disband before properly touring off of it. It’s just heartbreaking to think about. It’s also heartbreaking to think of brothers not communicating with each other.

I hope that over time these guys can reconcile. If anything, as friends.

Agreed. I'm definitely not on either side, as I'm simply on the side of ETID: I want what's best for the band as a whole, but I wouldn't want it to continue under the umbrella of these issues. I do think, without taking a side, that Keith is just choosing to be as brazen about it as he can be and that may or may not work in his favor, but regardless, you're right. It takes two to tango and it certainly sounds like there were issues that should have been worked out years ago but it took sobriety and other life changes to allow Keith to take them on. The whole thing is heartbreaking.

This was the soundtrack to my 8k today and it powered me through extreme knee pain setting in less than halfway through. Finished to the outro to People Verses.

I feel that! I ran a 8hr race 2 weeks ago. 0.5 miles from the finish line, Dark Distance came on my running "bangers" playlist. I kicked hard, even at 41 miles on my legs. Music can make you faster and ignore the pain your body is in - 100%.

Still can't believe I'll never see All This and War live, or any song from Radical (except White Void, luckily I was at the boat show that premiered it live back in 2019)

Yeah I posted that on reddit this morning and the overwhelming consensus is: Yes, this shit still sucks and seeing Andy (literally one of the kindest and most positive people I've ever met) hurt so much from this whole thing, given the tiny amount he's spoken on it, speaks volumes about all of it. Luckily the dudes are starting to write some music in buffalo now and Keith is continuing his own thing, so maybe with time everyone can continue moving on and at least make personal/private amends one day. For anyone interested, Keith is streaming on the In Bloom mental health awareness stream today at 4pm Eastern time twitch.tv/bluelisttv

Yeah I think bluelisttv is just hosting from 1 to 9 eastern, but they're just recommending the active channels at each time slot. It was a little confusing at the beginning of the broadcast

  24. I've had a hard time going back to their music lately, and even skip it when it comes up in a playlist on shuffle. It's not even a conscious decision, it's more that the way their break-up played out automatically comes to mind when one of their songs plays, like just hearing the intro of a song conjures up negative emotions for me.

Am I alone in feeling this? I assume this will go away with time.

Yeah I thought about putting them on at the gym yesterday but didn't. Definitely fresh bad feelings at the moment

    It will pass though.
