looking back, first actual statement where they specifically said they were doing the album in full was about a week after?
they did say from the start that they were "debuting the new record" on this tour

still, none of the show events on facebook were advertised as being full record shows and none of the venues advertised it as a tidal wave show/tour, the casual tbs fan not tuned in to social media all the time had no idea. i think thats at least a little shitty

Listened to FPU yesterday. Super heavy, and I love it. This is also great. This band is so consistent idk why I'm just now listening to them.

This album rips and has me going back through their discog wondering why I've slept on them so long.

It blows my mind that so many have never given ETID a chance. But I love that everyone is getting into the past discography because of low teens

  12. I wonder where this will chart - it would be cool to see them break the top 20. It seems to be getting great reviews, other than that RS Australia one, and fan feedback seems to be very positive.

Keith is doing a guest DJ set at Beauty Bar here in Chicago on Sunday after their show.

Man, this was a drag to listen to. It's ok, but I instantly forgot what it sounded like the moment it finished. I haven't properly enjoyed a ETID album since Hot Damn! GP had it's moments, as did The Big Dirty. But everything since hasn't connected at all.

I wish I liked them more as LNIT and HD were essential in my early years and GP is a pretty fun record. I probably just grew out of them as my taste evolved. Those 2/3 initial albums are still essential listens for anyone getting into heavy music IMO.

I LOVED them from LNiT up through TBD and then kind of dropped off with NJA and EL, but FPU is their best/heaviest album, so give that another go.

I realized today that my top 3 bands, Thursday ETID and JEW, have only ever released an album the same year and that was 2001.
Full Collapse, Last Night In Town, and Bleed American are so great.

Btw LNIT needs more love it has some incredible songs on it

Can't remember the last time I listened to an album this frequently after its release. Also, I've undoubtedly inflicted permanent hearing damage with the volume I've been cranking it at.

I just came in here to say this. I love it, it's basically just a Deftones/ETID hybrid but it slays.
