I feel like I’ve seen it out there somewhere too. Don’t know if it was like a confirmed thing or just good fan research

Some big Heroin Girl vibes on this track. Cool song and I like the embracing of the WON/SAF/SMFTAG era on this song. Also lyrics are right to the point.

Been on a huge Everclear kick since the new song dropped. I fucking love this band. Got into them before I got into bands like blink-182, Green Day, Bad Religion etc.

I forgot that Art has MS. I still can't believe he's been able to manage it so well and still tour. That is so kickass. I still have yet to see them live, but they do have a history of dropping into my city, so I really hope they announce a new album and come here again.

Yeah, I only listened to the 45 second clip and it sounded better than anything on the last album. Does anyone know if this is a single from a 2023 album or just a "one off"?

Per this interview, it not only sounds like a one-off, but it sounds like Everclear might be catching that "single song releases" bug that's been going around lately.

While trying to track down that interview, I also found this interview:

    https://rockcellarmagazine.com/ever...akis-30th-anniversary-tour-1990s-grunge/#main

Which is a great read, and has some wild stuff, like the fact that Capitol Records requested Alexakis to lie about his age when they were putting out Sparkle And Fade.

Recently watched the interview about the label wanting to market Art as like a 25 year old haha.

    That's a tour for sure.

  15. i saw Everclear last weekend for free at a car show in the park a block away from me. it was so fun seeing those songs live again. i hadn't seen them since 2000 or 2001, so it was fun to relive those days again of when i was obsessed with this band. i was front and center at the show and they played all the hits, but they also played some really interesting deep cuts. Art's vocals were a little hit or miss, but having the other guys doing harmonies or carrying the higher notes really helped.

  17. Rad lineup! I still haven’t ever seen Lit. They don’t come to Utah everrrr. So they’re high on my list for When We Were Young this year.

I always forget Slow Motion Daydream exists. I need to listen to it again. It's been a hundred years, but I don't remember especially loving it.

EDIT: listening now. "Blackjack" fuckin rules.

    Not newbie, I think Supporter

Has their live show gotten any better? When I saw them, it was the worst performance I have ever seen. And I've been to over a hundred concerts probably.

Art DOES have MS, which would lead to shaky performances.
