Looking at the line-up, it doesn't seem like there are as many horror/genre-type stuff this year at AFI as there were last year. I don't know much about this movie, but I read the little description and immediately gravitated towards it. Good to know it's got some buzz.

It’s probably more art film than genre picture, based on the Locarno premiere. If you like that kind of film, you should check out Acropolis cinema. It’s a screening series put on by Jordan Cronk, a great critic of this types of films. He also does Locarno in LA.

Idk if these are even your interests, but I’m super jealous that I live in another country and can’t go to his screenings and just wanted to share.

This cast is honestly unbelievable

Imagining Eric Andre and keegan Michael Key as two hyenas together is hilarious, and Seth & Billy as Pumba and Timon is ridiculous, plus all the lead characters are just stupidly on point, insane

 

John Oliver as Zazu? and yes that is a pretty ridiculous cast

 

Billy is all I need, but the whole thing looks to be very well cast.
