I don't see why those can't start as weekly discussion topics; I think that's what someone's doing with directors right now?

 

Forgot we were doing those actually. Good point.

 

I don't know if having actor ones run at the same time would be too much, but that's an idea, maybe a new actor every week and a new director every two. Also, it sounds like you don't want these to be as serious as a title like "Critical Discussion?" My initial worry was just that having a bunch of actor threads pop up at once would be overwhelming.

 

I don't have an opinion either way. It was just something I was thinking about that I thought was a good idea in theory but would end up potentially overwhelming

 

Went and watched The Huntsman: Winter's War, not a bad film. Jessica Chastain in leather armour helped improve it.

 

Did you see the first one? Is it significantly better?

@Garrett L. Haven't seen the first one so no idea. It was entertaining and didn't drag on though.

 

The first one had some really impressive visuals (judging from the trailer the second one has a very similar look), but was an absolute chore to get through.

I watched Room last night. Intense. Blown away by the leads in that.

Jacob Tremblay should have at least been nominated, that was such a huge snub.

 

Watching Major League. This is fun.

British teen drama Misfits is getting a reboot from The O.C. creator

 

Looks like Edge of Tomorrow is getting a sequel.

 

Still need to see the first one.

 

It's very good

 

The first 3rd of Edge of Tomorrow was pretty slow, the middle third was very, very good. The last 3rd was horrible and a mess

 

I really liked the whole thing.

Just put in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon for the first time in close to a decade. Wanna check out the Netflix sequel. Forgot how much I truly enjoy this genre, despite not always getting it.
