They completely ruined the potential of a digital library. For a few years the possibilities seemed endless, and it was flattening the gaps that existed for all of us who didn't grow up in the handful of cities with vibrant art spaces. Now it is almost harder to find stuff than when everything was physical, and since people are locked in to the services they pay for the determining factor for whether or not anything ever gets seen is if your corporation is already winning the race. It hurts even worse when one of the great torrent sites with such a wide variety of films and shows closed its doors recently.

 

Yeah I’m definitely working on building up my physical collection again.

 

Im building a digital library, saving my torrents onto a portable hard drive after I watch them.

I think IPT is private. There are plenty of RARGB alternatives though.

Without a private tracker though, it is getting more and more difficult to find older/rarer stuff.

 

Yeah these days, you have to download a show while it's still actively putting out new episodes, really annoying

People with private torrent sites finding out about how the rest of us live sound like the kid who finds out not everyone's family vacations in the Bahamas every summer.
