Rude but I probably would have laughed if I heard that

sounds like you've never watched a movie with someone constantly asking what is going on/why something is happening.

  6. I have some friends who react very audibly to the movie and get really excited and I think that's fine in a private setting but asking why things are happening as they are happening in the theater sounds really annoying or at the very least embarrassing around other people

This is why I almost always watch a movie alone, at least on a first-time viewing. Socialization only lessens the experience.

depends on the kind of movie. comedies can be greatly improved with other people.

When I was a teenager my friends and I saw Hot Rod and we got kicked out for laughing too loudly.

It changes what you think is funny, which can be a good or bad thing. If those jokes don't work alone, they were not that good.

that doesn't really matter to me as much as enjoying the film. but yeah, usually unfunny jokes will still be unfunny but it's easier to laugh at a film with other people than it is by yourself. so bad movies are greatly improved by watching with other people too.

That’s why they make comedians check their jokes in an anechoic chamber before they go on stage

I just love the idea of someone being like a bunch of Norwegian men are shooting a dog I'm sure this is just random and never brought up again

Also, if I’m not like a professional critic or whatever, instead just some person watching a movie… why would an experience skewing me towards liking something more be a bad thing? lol.

Whoa, I don't hate that show like most of this site does but if they don't find somewhere for a final season I'll be so bummed

I haven't watched it for a while, but I loved Whose Line back in the day.
