Oh shit RIP

 

I do not remember if I knew this or not, but this show was huge in this household for our girls.

They grew up with Arthur. We still quote Arthur <ALL> the time, at least a few times a week (Sharky episode, 'if there WAS a baby', or food touching other food.

Without this show, my girls would NOT be who they are today. Such a great great show, and if you have kids (now or in the future), this show is just a must see for them.

 

I would have assumed Arthur ended twenty years ago.

 

In June 2018, it was announced that Arthur was renewed for four additional seasons, through its 25th season. It was subsequently announced on July 27, 2021, that the 25th season, airing in the winter of 2022, will be the final season of the series.

Yeah that movie has been in development for awhile. Everything i've read about it sounds like it's going to be part Space Jam and part Bee Movie. Like a live action/animated hybrid legal comedy.

Celebration is technically what they were trying to build as a Disney town but it isn't very big and just sort of part of the Orlando-Kissimmee area.

The master plan for Epcot was going to be that everyone lived in this futuristic town and worked in it but after Walt Disney died the rest of them realized how crazy it was and abandoned it

They technically have their own government with a fire department and I think even a city council. Florida gave them everything they wanted back when no one lived here. The other major theme parks don't have any of that stuff.
