Entourage should have never ended. Vince should be trying to get in an A24 movie right now. Ari trying to get him to be in the MCU instead. Turtle trying to get to meet Florence Pugh out of it and gets into a fight with Zach Braff.

 

Six Feet Under definitely makes no sense as a sequel series after their perfect finale. Also, no plot or writer attached? Seems to me like this isn't much of an actual thing as it is someone leaking info from HBO discussions about possible reboots

Maybe, but this is from a critics' group who are old enough to know better. In what universe is the almost-50 Toni Collete being exploited by dating an older man?

It all feels like an overcorrection to sins in old media, but sometimes the case isn't just there to he made. There is a difference between mid-forties Woody Allen dating a teenager in Manhattan then there is between someone in their fifties and someone in their seventies.

 

In general, these complains come across as trying to take away autonomy from women. I dont believe that large age differences are inherently bad but they are at a greater risk of becoming abusive and the Hollywood pattern of older men writing ideal relationships with young women doesn't sit well.

I hope that the me-too movement will continue to bring awareness to the dangers of engaging in relationships with power imbalances and that people feel more empowered to speak up when those powers are being abused.
