Me telling people to shut up about the lack of accents in Chernobyl.

 

Id in general just prefer it to be in whatever language/dialect it's supposed to be, but I know that not how film making works and studios want movie stars and aren't going to pay for a foreign language film.

Accents are a weird attempt at a compromise to using the language of the region. If it is an American production just go with your normal voice so you don't end up embarrassing people.

Just had an idea. Some great shows go on too long. Some great shows are canceled too soon. What if you could subtract seasons from one show and add them to another?

Example:
Subtract 4 seasons from the original run of Dexter (8), add 4 seasons to Into the Badlands (3)
Subtract 2 (or 3?) seasons of Game of Thrones (8), add them to Penny Dreadful (3)

Or do something silly like:
Subtract 3 seasons from Glee (6), add 1 each to Bryan Fuller shows Hannibal (3), Dead Like Me (2), and Pushing Daisies (2)
Subtract 10 seasons from Supernatural (15), add 2 each to animated shows The Legend of Korra (4), She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (5), The Owl House (3), Infinity Train (4), and Teen Titans (5)

Don't do something dumb like subtract Big Bang Theory out of existence. Use shows you actually like(d).

 

I’d subtract the last 3 seasons of The Office and give them to Freaks and Geeks. Would’ve been fun to see where that show went after another season or two.

 

The number of extra seasons from The Simpsons is enough to fill everyone else's wish list. You can take the last six seasons of The Office as well. The last two seasons of Seinfeld.

Deadwood was cancelled too soon. Rome was forced to throw everything together in half a season. Carnivale has a great ending but the creator had a lot more planned. I would have liked to see what John from Cincinnati and Luck could have done if they were not canceled after one season.

 

Subtract 3 from Heroes, add one to Game of Thrones, The Get Down, and though I haven't seen it I'm sure it applies - Deadwood.

Subtract 3 from Arrested Development. Add three to Freaks and Geeks.

 

Simpsons feels like it's cheating haha.

I don't understand how Netflix can spend so much money on these huge movies that no one will ever watch again in a month. It feels like some sort of tax scam.

 

I thought Netflix only distributes them most of them time, or is that not how this works?

 

no there are some like Passing they bought the rights to but a lot they finance themselves
